B+B Wickham presented an irresistible opportunity to combine the B+B product with a restaurant offering.
The failing unprofitable hotel and restaurant was acquired in 2015. Cosmetic changes were made to the hotel whilst it was operating in order to minimise the loss of the revenue. Although the hotel is in a thriving market town, the restaurant had a chequered reputation of being unapproachable and had a very limited audience. The challenge was to make it more attractive to casual diners with the habit to eat out often. The restaurant offering has been redesigned to make it more accessible and the whole business has been upgraded according to B+B Collection standards.
Today B+B Wickham and the Old House Restaurant represent a substantially improved version of the previous business.
