Penny Brown, MD, was the driving force behind the development of the B+B brand concept. She delivers sustainable solutions to address hotel operational issues, and designs and directs implementation processes for hotel development opportunities. She also manages the disciplines required to provide effective Management Contracts
Before co-founding Inn-telligence, Penny had extensive international executive experience with Raffles and Swissotels, undertaking projects in UK, Continental Europe, Asia, The Americas and Egypt. more information.
Sue Bertram, Sales & Marketing Director specialises in developing and implementing sales and marketing, PR and distribution strategies. She has worked in Hotels, Tourism and Event Agencies for 30 years and has a highly effective network of international PR specialists, Sales Agents, Marketing Gurus and Creative Agencies, which, combined with her experience, gives Inn-telligence Ltd unparalleled reach.
Before co-founding Inn-telligence Ltd Sue worked in sales for Holiday Inns, Metropole and Millennium Hotels and was marketing manager for WTM. Agencies include GRG and MCI. Sue’s last role was Head of Business and Conventions at Visit London. More information.
Calum Weir, Finance Director, has significant exposure in both private stand-alone hotels and large international groups including Hyatt and Hilton Hotels. His knowledge of hotel operations allows him quickly to identify accounting or control issues. Calum has a very methodical approach, which encompasses focus and analytical skills. He keeps a trained eye on the bottom line, but is also a patient people’s person who is able to build, train and motivate teams.More information.
Karen Brown, Office Manager,
looks after the day-to-day running of Inn-telligence office, providing administrative support to Penny and the team. She has over 20 years senior PA experience, working for the Anglo- Dutch company Reed Elsevier in two of their companies, Reed Business Information and Bowker Saur.
Karen then moved into education, working for an independent Residential Special School, where she played a major role in setting up and developing comprehensive human resources and recruitment procedures, as well as a new purchase accounts system. More information.
Lee Chapman, non Executive Director, a former Relationship Director in Corporate Banking with the Barclays Bank PLC Hotels Team, has a wealth of business experience with strong financial, commercial and people skills. He has specialised in risk assessment and funding to small and medium size businesses for many years, particularly those in the Hotel and Leisure Industries.
He qualified (ACIB) in 1972 and his successful career involved a variety of rewarding roles including management of the Barclays Heathrow Airport Terminal Branches, Internal Audit and as a Trainer.
He is past President and Trustee of a local charity and, outside work, Lee enjoys golf at Burnham Beeches, gardening, football and his family.
