London and Partners, formerly Visit London Case Study

London and Partners’ remit is to promote London as a leisure tourism, business tourism and major event destination. The Business Tourism Sales and Marketing Director for Long Haul Markets participates at AIME (Asia-Pacific Incentive and Meetings Expo) in Melbourne every year and asked Inn-telligence Ltd to provide stand sales support for the duration of the event: 14 – 16 February 2011. This included two evening networking events and two days on the Visit London exhibition stand.

Prospective clients ranged from Tour Operators to PCOs; from Airlines to Associations. The corporate clients represented the major commercial sectors including oil & gas, pharmaceutical, government, motor, finance & insurance, I.T and retail. Enquiries came from Australia and New Zealand, Thailand, Japan, China, Malaysia and India.

AIME is a 2 day event with pre-scheduled hosted buyer appointments. London and Partners’ target was to generate 5 quality event leads. We achieved 15 with an economic benefit value of GBP 1.7 million out of 30 face to face meetings, of which Inn-telligence handled 50%.
